i4D Parishkaar Technologies Shines in Qualifier 2
Emerging victorious in Qualifier 2, i4D Parishkaar Technologies proved its mettle online on Lichess against a strong lineup of competitors. Nine teams participated in this qualifier, including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Tech Mahindra, UBS, Probit, Google, and Equity Bank Kenya.

By the end of the event, Parishkaar had secured 12 match points and 20.5 game points—a remarkable achievement that reflected the team’s hard work and consistency. Starting as the 2nd seed, Parishkaar immediately made an impact. In the very first round, the team defeated the top seed, Morgan Stanley, with a convincing 3-1 victory.
Standout Performances
There were several standout moments throughout the qualifier. One of our highlights was the performance of board 2 player FM Zalan Nemeth, who achieved an impressive victory against a Grandmaster—an incredible result that inspired the whole team. Meanwhile, board 3 player FM Stephen Jessel delivered a rock-solid performance; he did not lose a single game and became our highest scorer with an outstanding 6/7.

Additionally, the team showed great resilience after a tough fourth-round loss against Tech Mahindra. Nevertheless, Parishkaar bounced back strongly and continued their winning momentum, finishing the event with confidence and team spirit. Overall, across seven intense rounds, i4D Parishkaar Technologies displayed exceptional consistency, skill, and teamwork.

Path to the Knockout Stage
With this victory, Parishkaar has qualified for the knockout stage, which will be held online on 18 October 2025. Winning the knockout stage would earn the team a spot in the over-the-board finals in Goa, India, where they will compete for the prestigious title of The Smartest Company in the World.
Moreover, this achievement highlights not just the chess skills of our employees but also the company’s culture of excellence, focus, and collaboration. As a result, Parishkaar continues to strengthen its global presence both in technology and in the world of chess.
